How did you feel once you'd been out of HS for 10 years?

approaching that mark...
SW-User
I felt great. My career had really taken off the year before, and I was living hundreds of miles from that tiny miserable Bruce Springsteen-esque deathtrap of a town.

@SW-User nice. I don't have a career yet. 😔
What do you do for work?
SW-User
I'm an IT consultant/project manager/whatever else they ask me to do.
SW-User
@iamnikki I spun my wheels until I was 27 and got my big break, so don't get discouraged. It can happen any time.

It seemed like a long time. I didn't feel like I had changed much but I went to my 10th reunion and I was surprised to find people owned houses and had children and were all grown up. This Saturday is my 50th reunion. I won't be there.
I skipped graduation and left my hometown about a week later. Haven't been back since.

I couldn't wait to leave and happy I never went back.

Not saying I hated hs but I was done with it and ready to move on.

It didn’t even cross my mind....lol
Feel no older than I did then.

Blimey that's a long time ago now. Ermmm. Well I had a small baby, my oldest at that point. I also that year changed job which was deliberate to try to get into a company I could grow a good career in. It worked I stayed 19 years and had a terrific time.
