Can the judge force me to testify in court

[image deleted]I think he can force you to answer a question but I dont think he can make you testify. If he does just say/ " I decline to answer because I believe my answer will incriminate me. " Something like that. It is your constitutional right.under the 5th Amendment.

Be honest - if you dont remember just say I dont remember. Or to the best of my knowledge. _ the court is not your friend.
But that might be only under federal courts.

If you're subpoena'ed and/or an alleged victim, yes. If you're the defendant, no.
