Have you ever lost the love of your life?

Lost as in they left me. But not lost as in they died. Which is unfortunate.

yes, dogs don't live as long as we do, unfortunately, but she did live 20 years which was way above average. A few girls came to mind but my dog was truly the love of my life.

I was with my first love from 17-23, then she dumped me for my best friend. It took years to get over that and I've never really trusted anyone again, male or female. They made each other miserable for fifteen years and then she dumped him for her next husband. He was shocked. I so wanted say "What goes around comes around."
