How are you different from when you first joined social media?

I am more mellow, and less engaged, than before. I don't take things too seriously anymore. I do not get attached to people like I used to. Also. I tend tune out the problems and drama of others on here nowadays, more often than before. I still care about old friends but less about strangers, I confess. Oh, I wish them the best, but it is just too tiresome to get involved. I am more apt to just move on. Maybe I am just jaded. But I am not as depressed and emotional as I used to be, so that is part of it. Also, I am six years older!

I was so caught up with being validated I recklessly overshared and made friends with the wrong people because I was simple too excited and naive, but the negative experiences have made me really distrustful and skeptical, and I realised how pointless social media is so I only express myself on places like this and I’ve stopped caring about what people are doing with their lives for good

that my phone is a good coping strategy when i don’t wanna talk to certain ppl

I have learned that there are many crazies out there.
