If you were hovering around 30 working a deadend fastfood job would you be mortified if someone recognized you?

Had an old classmate ask me if I was me. I stupidly answered yes. Wtf have I done.

Yes! omg. I fell like crap when I see people where I work now in retail. Luckily, the folks I've seen were ones I don't like anyway...

@SW-User Yess, that too. One guy (classmate) that I am indifferent to came in dressed in a suit and tie and buying dress shirts. I was like 馃槷
He has a decent job. It's funny because I was one of the ones who you'd have thought would be well off. Meanwhile, some of the class clowns have businesses, or are doing well. Life is funny馃ぃ

Probably. But then again when your shift is over you dont have to worry about the cost of raw materials. And the effect of the aluminum tax on products.

And if you want to you can pick up another job easily enough.

I remember when I work at Starbucks. My teacher would all was come in for a large black coffee. I thought that was embarrassing

@smileylovesgaming It is. I saw my math teacher and English teacher while I was working at Wal-Mart. One recognized me and called me by name, asking what I was doing there lol. The other looked like she knew me. I was too embarrassed to say Hello Mrs.____馃槄

I am 31 and working a fast food job. Every ones gotta make ends meet, Some how. I have options, but I need to wait. I do have a job with the post office lined up also. It鈥檚 in the works. Good luck to you

The important thing you have a job. Can progress into office admin. Have t "exaggerate" on cv/ resume "Did office job of accounts, incoming." Or 2nd best job, co ordinator "Dealt with people."
