How do (or have) you handle the loss of a sibling?

This is my tribute drawing to my brother that was given 2-3 weeks to live... No one can chain smoke & drink like a fish without consequences...Even though I expected it...it’s always a shock to ones system realizing that you’ll never see them again..,
If you have lost a brother, can u advice me on what u think the best course of action is?
Sincerely,
Shewolfiie
dont know how my brother has made it this far. although he has chilled out quite a bit. he abused crack cocaine till he was about 40. he has been straight for 7 or 8 yrs now. he still smoke cigs like crazy though.

I lost my oldest brother many years ago. The best I can say is your have to keep on keeping on. Your brother's choices were his though the consequences of those choices are unfortunately shared around those who loved him. Live your life the best way you know how, remembering the good in him while cultivating the good in you.

I felt my sister let me down by dying
we were supposed to grow old together
I don't know what to say
some days are better than others
remember the good times
live a life they would be proud of

Cherish all the good memories and realize that as painful as this goodbye is you wouldn't trade never having him in your life just to avoid this hurt.

I lost two sisters.. about 10 years apart. I was more mad at them and sad about it sometime later in life

I would be extremely angry that he did not value his body/life more.
