This is joke and I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

Hugs to all my American friends. 🤗

@Burnley123 Dont worry the Yanks have no sense of humour
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@nedkelly Most of them do. People who know me get my sense of humour too.

@Burnley123 The UK views America as the adolescent child who when it's all grown up will stop being so self destructive and a pain in the ass.. We love them really but oft times want them sent away.

"Americans are like England's children. Sure, we don't call as often as we should, and we're not as well-behaved as our goody-two-shoes brother Canada, who by the way has never had a girlfriend!"

@SW-User England is like a boring uncle which nobody cares about who has delusions of grandeur.

Happy Fuck You King George III day 🤗

@abe182👍
Let it go, for your own sake. After a couple of hundred years, holding a grudge is just flat out unhealthy for you.

Please sit. Here’s some hot water and a Plantation Mint tea bag. Or I could put some beer in the microwave for you?

Red, white and blue cupcakes coming up!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Mamapolo2016 I was joking.

For the record, I think Britain were the bad guys in that war, as with most of our wars.
@Burnley123 I was joking too, in the spirit of your post. I don’t even HAVE beer or cupcakes.

Have a good day regardless.

@Mamapolo2016 OK. Take care

It's not treason if we won!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@GeistInTheMachine History is written by...

Actually in my country, kids never learn about that war for some reason.
I'm an American and but for the fact that our Democracy encouraged england to convert to democracy I honestly wish the framers hadn't. Parliament is superior to Congress in nearly every way. The whole of British society seems to be educated into how to debate and make arguments and refute them whereas that kind of intelligence is rare in our politics. It's seriously embarrassing, British society seems downright sophisticated compared to american and I honestly regret the Revolution. Now we've got separate countries =(

@BetweenKittensandRiots The grass is always greener...
@Burnley123 Britain has problems too but at least your revolution within the labour party succeeded. Ours within the the Democratic party failed.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@BetweenKittensandRiots Ours hasn't succeeded and yours hasn't failed. The Labour left is in a stronger position but not that much stronger.

Corbyn and the membership are both on the left but the vast majority of elected officials are centrist or Blairite.

Cortez victory was a good one and the DSA will have more successes as well as failures. The Democratic party has less open structures and is less... Well... Democratic than Labour so its a harder fight. Still well worth fighting though.

The Corbyn project nearly collapsed twice in its two years. The first time was the post Brexit coup when corbyn was under huge pressure to resign and a legal challenge the other way or an NEC vote would have kept him off the ballot.

The second time was during the election, when Labour started twenty points down. If we'd lost by twenty points, or even by ten, the left would have been in a hugely vulnerable position.

Britain is not as right wing as America bug its still pretty neo liberal. We have come a long way in a short time but starting from a very low base.

Damn you for getting me to talk serious politics on a joke post. 😆

How old is soccer? Maybe that's what the hidden agenda was. Rebels against the possibility of soccer corrupting our youth.
