How much money could I make if I panhandled?

I've heard they can make pretty good money, however, in some States, Cities, it is illegal and then you'd be paying a fine lol and it would also depend on your location as to how much you'd make. I've seen those people stand outside in all kinds of weather all day long to panhandle. Not something I'd want to have to do, But it would be interesting to do it and see wouldn't it?
