Yes I get that too. As soon as I show a smigid of interest they lose interest. So I try and stop showing interests in guy who I feel are chasing after me.

I was never that way, if I liked and was interested in someone and they showed little or no interest I'd move on. The worst thing a woman could do was play hard to get, because if she was interested then she would miss out. Now there is such a thing as being too eager or aggressive, but if a girl/woman was interested I would have loved for her to let me know it (maybe even approach me for a change...nothing wrong with the female making the first move). It never happened, but that's how I always knew I'd know when I met the right one...and that's exactly how I got with my wife.

I dunno. People say that guys like "the chase", but I don't particularly like it. If a chick shows interest, I show interest. If I'm interested, I mean. Or I'm at least appreciative of it, even if I'm not into her.

Unless you're sending like 500 text messages a day or something, I dunno why a guy would not be interested.

Maybe he only said he liked you to spare your feelings. Or maybe he's super insecure. *shrug*
