What does it mean when someone disregards what u think and just rambles on like they are important?

@SW-User Oddly enough I had this discussion with my wife earlier this evening. I'll be in the middle of a sentence and she will just ride over what I'm saying with whatever her current thought is, often not related at all to what I was originally telling her. It makes me feel as if she thinks that nothing I say is half as important as whatever whim just flitted through her head.

@SW-User I'm glad to help and not just because I have a soft spot for you. ☺ Because what I said applies to us all, which is why its important to listen to one and other even if you dont always agree.
