Am I supposed to care about my cousins miscarriage?

They don't talk to me, I don't talk to her or her husband. They make no effort to speak to me. They used to invite me to their new years party every year and would take me out for my birthday but the last time was 2011 or 2012. Idk why they quit talking to me. If they aren't a part of my life I really don't feel anything for them.
