We use a big net. We actually bought some net curtains and made into a giant net it works quite well. We have the same issue with ours :)

My boss put old CDs on a string and hung them around his work garden, birds get spooked by shiny reflective things blowing around in the wind.

Netting is about all I know

you can find a fake owl in most garden centers, also fake snakes

I've surrendered them to the birds

As a last resort cherry trees are good for other things like chips to use in your smoker, Cherry is good for some woodworking , gives off heat when burnt in fireplace or wood stove. As I said as a last resort. Good luck

Put out a bird feeder . And mix rat poison in it
