Have you ever had to deal with an incompetent valet person?

Years ago my mother was in the hospital for heart related issues. I wanted my car parked in the valet section because it was closer to the entrance. I pulled up and the valet guy was doing his damndest to get out of doing his job. He kept trying to direct me to the free parking or do it yourself parking. I was getting mad at him and made him do it anyway. No tip for you bucko and I always tip.
