My best mate in Darwin

has successfully organized a special garden to be planted in memory of the suicides that have occurred.
He copped a lot of flack from folks who claimed it was "celebrating suicide".
No. He's building a beautiful space for the purpose of respect and for grieving. It's called The Memory Garden.
Thoughts?

I'm not sure why there would be a problem as long as it is tasteful. For someone to be in so much pain that they would kill themselves should be mourned.

@Fungirlmmm And it's completely unconventional compared to a cemetery. I also agree that respect must be paid to the ones who for whatever reason just couldn't carry on.
It will be beautiful. Death is the same regardless of the cause. I think it would be easier than going to the cemetery.

@Mondayschild I know I'd find it easier than attending a cemetery.

@TryingtoLava I reckon so too.
