Someone drops a $50 do you stop them to give it back or do you pocket it?

If I am able to find that person I will give it back, but if there is just a $50 laying on the ground and nobody is around I will keep it. Taking to lost and found or trying to report it at that point wouldn't do much. The people you give it to are going to keep it for themselves so you might as well keep it.
