How many of you really like your job?

My job is very repetitive in an office and sometimes it is ok, but I don't really gel withe some of the people. Half of my team I like, the other half I would never speak to if I didn't have to work with them. It makes for a very long day, because I feel excluded me as a result. I know I am too quiet... because I am bored and because I have very little in common with some of these people. Makes for a long day. How many others feel this way about their work? I just wondered.

I know... just feels wrong, having to spend all this time with people you don't really like that much.

Yes, I know that feeling so much. If we don't really like our jobs, we can obviously quit or use them as a must for living, focusing in the rest of our lifes, what's really important if a job don't fill our hearts

I've always felt you spend way too many hours of your life working, you need to have some level of enjoyment in what you do or find another job. (Much easier to say than is always possible, I know.) I've always worked in Hospitality mostly in Hotel/Motel operations and although there are better paying comparable benefits and better hours in other lines of work out there, I do enjoy what I do and my co-workers, for the most part have been good. Even if you love your job, work is still work and work will suck from time to time anyway.

I'm a carpenter and so it's a little different everyday. Plus a lot of times we get to talk to new people on the same job. I like it.

I'm the same way. I like a few, then there are a few that annoy me to death.
