Can you make real friends online?

SW-User
Yes. But....friendships are often short lived. Thats worth remembering because it can be a shock that people just disappear or go cold on us....but we dontcalways know the real life events thats might lead to that. We can sometimes think weve been abandoned....but....how do we know our online pal isnt havi g a realide crisis?
We should learn to simply enjoy peeps while we have them around. The friendship xan be very real and very vailid but cone go 'pop' at anytime.
And that can hurt...then you can be sure how real it was. 😔

You can make real friend anywhere. It’s not so much the place, it’s the people. For me at least.

[c=#BF0080]Yeah, but I don’t think it’s very common [/c]

@MellyMel22 Pretty much sums it up.
Absolutely. I have a few close friends. I trust them completely and they me as well.

Yes, and I have....I have one friend I’ve been associating with online since 2007.
The magic can be real, but it can also be illusion.
Fernie · F
Personally, I think that is a very rare thing.
Diesel95 · 36-40, MVIP
I think so but it takes a lot of effort and commitment from both sides the one true friend I can say I have met online has been with me for 9 years this year and I'm planning to fly out and see her sometime next year
Fernie · F
@Diesel95 I would definitely call someone a friend of we'd been communicating for 9 years but most people toss the word friend around fast and loose online and it gets all washed out...instantly they call someone a friend. It takes years and lots of good and bad experiences to become friends
Montanaman · M
Yes. I already have. 💓
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
Indeed. As I have.

I think you can but it has to be a two-way thing. I have found some people rather fickle but hey that’s life...
Yes. I believe I have.
