@Gr8Guy1979 good for you? I was once a devoted Christian. I even graduated from a Christian high school and have a brother who is a pastor. Save your thoughts and prayers for someone else.

@AlmostAnAngel I'm sure those atheist friends are thrilled with the way you talk about atheists, like we're only convicted in our beliefs until we realise how scary death is so we [i]must[/i] believe in your particular magic man. I don't know about other atheists, but I'll need some serious dementia to change my whole worldview when faced only with fear.

@Gr8Guy1979 Intellectual honesty is about always seeking the truth, regardless of emotion or prior beliefs, Not about being smart. I'm not some full of myself prick, I don't think I'm a special genius snowflake.

@SW-User Whether or not it was meant as an insult, it was insulting. Intent is important, but so is effect. I'm not angry, I'm just tired of being accidentally insulted by Christians all the time. Christians are mostly lovely people, I just wish they'd take the time to understand atheists as people with feelings, not potential converts, or some kind of invaders.
