what is your impression if anyone stare at you ?

I've occasionally thought I was being stared at, but they were looking at something behind me, just off to the side. I've asked if I can help them, and on one occasion they apologized profusely as they thought I looked like someone they'd known years ago. No harm done.. C'mon we've all done that, seen someone we were certain was an old friend but when we got closer they weren't.

People stare at me all the time because my habitus is rather eccentric. When I catch some one, I wave. Sometimes he nods back.
