I must admit I am scared where this will end with Syria as usual the idiot trump is making thing worse by his tweets I know i am going to get shot down on this by his supporters which they are entitled to an opinion as I am I do not agree with the gassing of civilians not by any stretch of the imagination I am very disappointed in Russian attitude but not really surprised as I have had my doubts about putin for a long time and he shows his true colours quiet regularly backing dodgy leaders really there should be hard evidence before pointing the finger why has the united nation not sent in a team to collate information to help defuse this deadly situation before it gets out of hand

goralski as I said I am not getting into a debate over this and falling out with people over something I cannot do anything about I am entitled to form an opinion and anyone else there opinion but say what you want about Obama the world has become a more danger place since trump took office with putin as responsible for a lot of issues

The U:N in all probability doesn't want to get involved unless the folk in the region ask for help specifically.
They've had their fingers burned way too many times by the likes of Lebanon in the 80's and the former Yugoslavia conflict during the 90's.
The Security council should certainly get involved and if possible make this a joint effort rather than a clandestine U.S v Russia proxy war which is clearly what Trump wants.

As much as Trump likes to make everything about him, and even allowing for the fact that for once he may be on the side of the Angels here, this is really just a change to grab a headline that distracts from the growing issues at home. Although, if he is looking for a real fight, I am sure Putin will be happy to oblige.
