Does this happen to anyone else?

Post something on SW, and wait for while, no replies. Then go away for a few minutes and everyone suddenly wants to heart and comment but by the time you come back its been too long to reply them

Never too late to reply. Just try to do it when those people are around so they'll engage with you. You're also better off timing your questions so that you can be around for the first little while after posting when things are most active.
