How would you describe the victorian era habit of taking posed photos with recently deceased relatives before burial?

@DreamyCrush that's how it was then. each era has a situation, think about the families who lost their loved ones and had only a certain amount of time before they really had to say goodbye and photography technologies were improving over time and this was the chance for the common folk to have something for remembrance.
@sighmeupforthat I feel like your memories of the deceased should be sufficient. I don't want a photograph of a corpse. Just my two cents.
