Oh, we're doing just fine, thanks. One of the few functional states in the union that actually pull their own weight.

Nearly bankrupt, lawless, homeless everywhere, employers and people with money leaving by the truckload. It can’t survive financially. Tent cities line roads. Becoming a dump

The only difference between California and Mexico is California has more Mexicans
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Jibby I mean, it implies some sort of next-gen matter compression tech, probably some pet project of Musk's. Pretty important info you've brought to our attention.

@QuixoticSoul I've never seen a joke broken down to the atom like that you'll have to forgive me

@Jibby Hey, between a terrible joke and an important revelation with national security implications - I just wanted to be charitable.

California is one of the few states that gives more money to the feds than it takes. Can't say the same about u slackers
I was just in Cali last year, it’s awesome!

For a country that so idolizes money and those who have it, many people have a peculiar animosity for the state that has the most of it.

Cali has the strongest economy in the US and is 1 of the healthiest states

@tindrummer Right on. Spoken like a Californian. It's not right for everyone. Thankfully. :)

Don't be bitter sweetie. Not everyone cut it here.
Probably best that you stay away.

I grew up in Orange County. It's a desert that thinks it's a tropical island. They need to stop idiotic people from building houses on edges of hills. LA needs to stop stealing water from small communities. People need to stop not allowing small fires to burn in forests.
@Quietguyinthecorner Unfortunately, it is like New York, in that too many people try to stay in a place they cannot afford. My family moved away from Huntington Beach where my grandparents live in order to get a house. We lived in an apartment for most of my childhood. A lot of neighborhood schools closed because the next generation of families couldn't afford to live there in homes. So, many people I grew up with, tried to stay in the area after they moved away from their parents, but just can't afford it. It's my opinion that it is better to move on in order to grow.
It is a coin flip
