Is there an easy way to create an entirely different personality for yourself?

I've been basically the same way my entire life, getting better then worse then much better over time. I just want to completely reinvent myself. To make my personality make the people I know question, "Is this the same person I once knew?" Anyone with tips, I'd greatly appreciate it.
