You know what sucks?

When you try to yell but you end up sounding weird
Serenitree · F
It happens to me a lot. I can speak loudly, but when I need to call out to someone at a distance, I can't. My throat seizes. When I had a bladder stone, I spent three or four days screaming in pain as it passed. That severely damaged my larynx. All of my coughing now sounds like a British Bulldog barking. Bad vocal cords.
Yelling doesn't sound natural. It makes me feel small.
