For me I knew for certain when I couldnt wait to hear from her. If I went longer than a certain amount of time without hearing from her, it would hurt and I felt relief after finally hearing from her again. Like she is the only person that matters, Ive never felt that way with anyone else.
Because the butterflies are different. You can't stand near them and not feel the heat of their skin. You need to tell them everything, from what you had for breakfast to every single word that came out of your mouth. That every second you're with them isn't enough, you constantly are excited to tell them what just happened. And when they aren't there, you feel lost. Like a part of you is missing. Like you can't quiet catch your breath.
This isn't new love either. I've been married for 16 years and still feel the same way.
