I am always surprised when I see posts about people meeting others on here, then the post always goes down the "he was lying to me, he is ignoring me, etc" type road.
I just want to shake people, "This is an anonymous forum chat board, have fun, go crazy, but don't expect to meet your soul mate on here."

@Pherick exactly that's why honesty is the key...
In my case I'm always honest here and don't need to appear to be someone I'm not...
But.... In internet it's easier to lie and be someone else...like you say, appear different and fall for an image we create in our minds.
Imagine, if only in real life we tend to make people better than they are in our minds... Imagine in internet..... tricky! Mostly because honesty is hard to find. Anywhere

@SW-User Agreed, I try and same in real life and SW, it just makes things easier to keep track of :)
I have never quite understood the appeal of lying to get someone to like you, whats the payoff? Especially online?
