What is the law?

If someone who is 18 and older can legally serve glasses of wine or beer from the bar to the table. What about having fully sealed bottles in the trunk of the car when driving back home?

Well in my part of the USA its illegal to be in "possession" of alcohol open or closed in a car under 21 .

If you're of age, no issue with sealed bottles in the trunk. I always keep all alcohol in the truck. Never drive with an open bottle or can in the car. I don't drink but I do buy alcohol and carry it in the trunk.

Unfortunately, you can serve, but not buy or have alcohol, certainly in your car, until you are 21.

In some dry counties in the USA, no one is allowed to have liquor of any sort in their car....?
