So are you willing to have your property taxes quadruple to make schools safe ?

That's what it will take .

But, throwing money at something doesn't solve the underlying issue.
How are we going to protect them from drunk drivers or a mall shooting or a thousand other potential dangers in life?

Easier to train and arm teachers, lower taxes

Oh no. Let's not put money into keeping the kids safe! Let's put that money where it belongs, into arming more and more people who have less and less self control. Eventually there will be no need for schools at all because everybody will be dead

Funny how we have money to build a dumb ass wall but when it comes to terrorism in our own schools it's a different story smh.

We already pay more than the rest of the town

Most people do not have that kind of money. In my area that would mean everyone spending around $13, 000 per year.

@DevilsAngel Those people own bigger homes, and they earn more than the area where I live.

@DevilsAngel hey I agree with you

@DevilsAngel How is that related to property taxes?
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
money has to come from somewhere and in essence everybody ends up paying for it.

No, cause I see how our area school districts and city leaders spend my money.

What are some alternatives, as you see it ? 🤔
@DevilsAngel More school counselors, perhaps ? And wellness checks ? They actually do that in other countries.

@DevilsAngel More facts keep coming out about the Parkland shooter—he put a gun to someone’s head when living with a host family—and the police were notified. Seems the first thing that needs to change is law enforcement consistently taking reports seriously.
