Is SW fading?

I have asked a few of my friends here this question and have their answer but I thought to post too everybody and see what's goingo

More and more I find people who have been here are not here any longer and show no signs of activity. I don't mean just that one post wunderkind but lots of people Gone,
without erasing their profiles. Is anybody else noticing anything like a shrinking population of online folks? Sure, many regulars are still here, but it does seem
Many more have left or never online. What is your experience?

@Carver I do think we need more new blood here, and it would be nice if it was easy to find out if someone on your list hasn't logged on in a year or so.
My own sample is of course limited to those on my friend list or on my follow list or just people who I see here a lot, at least for a while.

Just as another person posted last night regarding people missing EP,this place lacks substance. Plus I hate the platform. It took me a year to even find any interest in posting.

Many of us have noticed and posted about it. SW will most likely go the way of just about every other site like it. It's my 4th. They all start off great and eventually go down the drain. Too many perverted males and silly teenagers and no way to keep them out apparently. Only FB seems to have the magic lasting formula.

@Fernie I have heard reports recently of Facebook, the 900-pound gorilla social sites, is losing eyeballs at a rate that makes them worried. Maybe we will own outgrow this! But I certainly agree a perfectly good site, Can be swamped by people who are looking to get cyber, and or kids that are bored and looking for titillations.

I know that a lot of people are used to visit, or no longer here, or have been away a very long time.
and I'm missing some of them!
If enough people weigh in on this question perhaps we can come to some knowing consensus.
