Why do people expect something back when they do something nice to you

When I'm nice to someone it's because I feel like being nice not because I want or expect something in return. Don't try to guilt someone to doing something they don't like or want to do because you helped them out..
I can't stand fake people

That shit grinds my gears! I hate it when people by Xmas gifts and expect a return gift. I hate gifts. People use it as a form of manipulation at times! And it's so fucking obvious when they do!
