Are you lost without your computer?

I treated my laptop cord savagely and it died.

aiyiiiiiiiiii

Today I got the replacement cord. No more typing on my cell phone.

Yesssssssss
The remarkable thing is - I can remember quite clearly when I had no cell phone and no computer and somehow managed to survive.

When I wrote about my experience in terror at the Bullcreek Wildlife Management Area, youngsters kept asking: "Why didn't you use your cellphone and call 911?"

Damn, why didn't I think of that? Oh, yeah. No cell phones.

That was about fifteen years ago. Things that didn't exist then are necessities now.
@Mamapolo2016 It’s amazing, isn’t it ? I remember pagers being an innovation, where you could be notified that someone wanted you to call. 😅
Laughing.

And before THAT answering machines. Then, we considered a week to be a reasonable time for a return call.

Now it's 3 seconds.

I need to update my cell phone but feel more comfortable on a computer.
Oh, honey. I can relate. I can get lost in a paper bag.

I'm just lost in general
Yes...my internet service had stopped working for awhile because of construction in the area. Using cellphone WiFi just wasn’t the same.
@bijouxbroussard It sure isn't the same. AND when you run out of data. Verizon doesn't cut you off if you have Safe Mode protection, but they hook you up with two tin cans on a string.
