i'm thawing out a chunk of Hamburger for cheese burgers but its taking all day at room temperature ,

using the microwave makes it all soggy , i don't want that but i'm getting Hungry , ugh ! still waits

If you can suspend it in water it will thaw faster.

@FurryFace yeah, you can just put it in a tight bag and get out as much air as possible, so it's in maximum contact with the water. Thermal transfer on water is really good, should warm it up quick.

I put it in a ziploc bag and put it a bowl of warmish water to hurry it up.
