Not at all. I don't give them that degree of importance. People who do that are flawed and ignorant, probably need professional help, and ignoring them is the only way to stay sane.

Usually the trash talking is just tossing insults to see what sticks. People who believe in you will stick around, and those that don't, well, you've been given a favor.

I ignore them, not worth of my time to bother with that person in the first place. Hope you feel better if someone did that to you.
