So....Just spent an hour trying to programme a Kindle Fire 7

Seriously. Do yourself a favour.

Forget it !
NO instructions other than what's on screen ! No booklet; No instructions on the side of the box !

Save the £35.
Go to your local library with three bits of I:D.
Set up a Google/Yahoo/Bing/Ask/AOL whatever, account with a free e-mail address.
Much of the app. stuff on it is fairly pointless.
Skype. Facebook. Pinterest. And endless Amazon products for you to buy !

NONE of which are you able to even have appear on your homepage until you give AMAZON ACCESS TO A CREDIT CARD NUMBER !!!!!

Three days to Christmas and had i known that i never would have bought one as a gift for somebody.

So pissed right now !!

But you are saving paper and helping the environment, who cares if you bought a product without instructions. Just go to a website that is all fancy but dearth of anything or anybody that will help you. Go green young man, go green :)

Got my son and grandson to program it. The only problem that i could not cure, is that it won't worked with my Harmony master remote. The Firestick works on WiFi, most other remotes use IR. Bummer.

I was thinking of getting the kids versions, after reading the reviews on amazon I said no feckin way, they sound very problematic 😕

@SW-User Wouldn't bother with the Kindle. Plenty of tablets out there fairly cheap these days.

Seriously..programming? This is not rocket science..that is why there are no instructions. If this is a gift for someone else let them program it. It is not yours.

But i'm trying to make it accessible for a 75 year old woman losing her sight !
