I Have a question

If you had to choose from either loosing one sense ,Sight or Hearing, which would you pick and why?

Hearing, There's a language and lip reading you can use to replace it, I'd miss music but I'd still be able to see beauty in a face, or a picture, or the stars.

I could not live without being able to see. I would prefer to be deaf, so many people around me talk shit anyways lol.
There will always be the ill-informed small minded not being able to hear them does not silence them only you! but I see your point!

Hearing. There are lots of beautiful things in this world to see and it doesn't need to hear. It needs to be seen and felt. 😊
Hearing. People talk shit all the time. I'd much prefer to see action instead of trying to sift verbal truth from lies.
A bit bitter aren't we! surely you have heard many sweet kind word also

That is an impossible choice to make for me . . . I'm a HUGE music lover, so I need hearing, but I'm also an artist and love drawing so I need my sight . . . Oh geez . . . 😓

It would be a terrible choice to have to make but I don't think I could live without music:)
It is a hard choice, sight is so much of our world but the mind can fill in images from sounds and smells but to loose music and the nuance of speech....very difficult!

I think hearing, too many things I find beautiful that I’d not want to miss seeing

Thats a hard one vut i can't see myself living in darkness
understandable, but I think it might stimulate imagination

Hearing. It would be less devastating than blindness.
Maybe I am not sure, a world without song and music and the nuance of speech is difficult to imagine also

I'd choose to keep hearing. I love music and the sound of my kids.
Allthingscurious · 41-45, M
I'd give my hearing because no sound could ever substitute for the beauty that can only be known from sight.
@Iluvpanties365: point taken but touch with hearing can convey most all messages i even more personal terms!
Allthingscurious · 41-45, M
I feel there have been so many times I wish I could just tune out the sounds of the world, to include my children but I couldn't imagine never being able to enjoy the sight of anything. Most everything has to be vocal without sight but but so many things can be visibly spoken without saying a word. It's obviously a personal preference, mine just happens to be the gift of sight.
It's not an argument, just playing the devils advocate saying there are two sides to the coin, Sight is wonderful but also leads to build inn predigest we assume many thing with the sight of the become blind to what lies beneath
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
Sight every time, without sight you can still get an appreciation through sound of your surroundings, but without sound those exquisite noises of children as well as more annoying ones are not there and you are cast into a world of solitary silence
I am not surprised hearing is the choice, but he loss of music and the nuance of the spoken word, inflection ,sarcasm and tenderness!
World would be more peaceful as miscommunication would decline significantly. Music videos and lyrics 👍 sing in your head

Hearing
I can see and here with my eyes.

Sight. If I could no longer hear music, it would be all over.
