So black people didn't have the right to vote in the land of the free until 1965?

That is not a correct statement but in 1965 there was a law passed called the voting rights act of 1965. The act contains numerous provisions that regulate election administration. Outlawing things like various voting restrictions, including literacy tests, poll taxes, property-ownership requirements, moral character tests, requirements that voter registration applicants interpret particular documents, and others. The 15th amendment gave blacks the right to vote in 1870 in the land of the free as you call it.

You could always try different oppressors and oppressed say the Irish and the British.
Under the 15th Amendment (1870) It granted Black American Men to vote

- Terrorist groups (Jim Crow laws,Black code and kkk) /Laws/Government didn't let Black American Men vote actively like now until the late 1960's

Don't know who lied to you but black men got the right to vote in 1870. Black women got the right to vote when all women got the right, in 1920.

White women couldn't vote until 1920. Think about it. Strange huh?
