It's just Christmas without the presents.

"family" values people try to close down charity to those who have no where to go by shutting down business and close down all stores then try to halt black friday.

then end up showing naked pictures of themselves to underaged children online.

while they FEAST on the tax payer dollar huge meals with their 2, 3 secret families, w/the yacht or mansion #4.

Think Christmas Except without getting Presents you get a bunch of Delicious Thanksgiving Dinner Foods With Turkey & Gravy Greenbanes & Other Thanksgiving Foods To go along with with it

family and lots of food.

In Canada it is simply a family get together and feast. Ours was in early October and my family got together and had a wonderful meal prepared by loving hands.

It's overconsumption of food the day before overconsumption of consumer goods; America.

Basically it's a lavish feast with friends, family where you sit around, eat, talk, express gratitude for whatever is going well in your lives.
