Why do sugar free foods taste weird most of the time?

Sugar is bad for you and fattening so I have to do sugar free

It’s all fake and processed usually. Like low fat foods. Just more fillers. I use honey or maple syrup usually.

Because they use artificial sweeteners that, while still being sweet, have a different flavor than sugar.

@NorthernRoses Indeed, this is why. The "zero calorie" and "no sugar" hooks that are used to sell chemical products that have fuck-knows-what side effects while tasting sugar-sweet! 🤢👽🤖💀
