Have you ever messaged someone and they respond 4 days later...

...as if it were nothing? In real life... This person just continued the conversation as if 4 days had not passed...
That’s not good. At least they could have had the courtesy to let you know they would be getting off-line. On the other hand, something could have come up suddenly. Maybe an emergency, or they just could not get back to you right away, for whatever reason. Then there are some that don’t realize when they are being rude. Rather than assume, I usually ask what happened to them and tell them I missed their reply. Something like: “I missed you! Are you ok? You left so suddenly, I thought maybe something happened to you.” That way, they realize how it made you feel, and that you were concerned. I doubt it happens again. At least, I hope not. Some just don’t understand.

@LadyGrace I mentioned that this is in real life. Lots of people are missing that fact. This is a person that I know in real life.
@iamnikki Yes. That is important to note. Makes a big difference.

People got shit to do
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@HoraceGreenley Well I do too but this is a person from real life. I stated that and everyone is evading that fact. I do not care about people on here ignoring me. They probably aren't who they say they are anyway
Yep, but I ignore them if they do that.

Hard to believe but some people do have lives outside of here.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@LyricalOne like i said, i'm not talking about on here.
LyricalOne · F
Lol... like you just said- after editing your question.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@LyricalOne I didn't edit anything. Some people just don't read well.
Yeah...I’d cut them some slack and give them a day to respond but after that, I’d be a little upset. If it’s really important, I’d call though.

No, cause I'm usually the one who does that , sometimes a week later
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@SW-User How come you do it? Are you better than others to not respond to them.
SW-User
@iamnikki I forget about their messages , but my friends don't mind, they keep talking like nothing happened.
Projecthonest · 41-45, F
Yes, this happens regularly. If it’s urgent or important, they’ll call me instead.

@BlueClapTrap Not really. It hurts the other person’s feelings, causing them to think they weren’t important enough than to just drop the conversation and leave them hanging.

Isn't remembering you enough?
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
Alot of people do that. They have other things going on or things on their minds.
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
I do that. >_> I mean. Why not?
