Peace often means having to concede something.
Right now we live in a world where everybody mistrusts authority.
The police who are supposed to keep us safe.
The politicians who are supposed to define social policy for our welfare.
And societal trends in general since you have to be careful what you say or you run the risk of being called a 'Snowflake' or a "Social justice warrior" All at the behest of an idiot elected precisely because he WASN'T a politician !
So you're either part of the problem or you're trying desperately to defend your position !
All of which means peace is a real rarity.
