@IAMMONARAHIMI The male lions first duty is to protect the pride by fighting off other male lions or hyeanas. Hunting is second priority. However I have read reports about lion prides, which live in swampy areas where they hunt mainly buffalos and hippos because antilopes and zebras are very rare there. There the male lions hunt too and prides have far more male lions than in their usual habitat the savannah.
