How many people do you have for Thanksgiving this year?

Ughh would rather go out for steak with the Missus bypass the hoopla

I am not sure. The sisters-in-law do all the communicating, and since I am single, nobody has told me what the plans are supposed to be yet, par for the course since one thinks the other did it, etc. I hope they forget, since the brother whose house at which it was supposed to be held is not my favorite, and they had a house issue within the last week, so perhaps it has changed. I will find out from my parents if they know anything, otherwise I'll just plan to do something with them since my girlfriend is at her family's celebration and I wouldn't be able to stay at their location as I have to be somewhere soon after Thanksgiving. Far too much drama associated with supposedly festive holidays.

@toddr13 I can't even believe you crammed that much drama into a reply.. I really fell for you my man.. you should fake a heart attack and go relax in the hospital.. sounds like my family

@Jibby Yes, lots of drama, and it drives my parents crazy too. I'd never get away with faking a heart attack as my mother is a doctor, as are a couple of other family members. LOL

my family doesnt do that, should run the idea by them, would be cool to try
Jibby · 56-60, C
@whateverhappens I know I thought it was in two weeks because it's one of those last Thursday's thats not quite close to the end of the month... what you got to do is make the turkey fall onto the floor out of the fridge
( if you have a dog )let him get to it and "Bingo !" Restaurant !

We have a premie so we're forgoing the usual 50 plus family dinner and just going to my husband's parents
Jibby · 56-60, C
@Mountainlady16 usually 50?! I don't think there was that many Indians and pilgrims at the first Thanksgiving
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@Jibby lol my step-dad had a huge family
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
You silly Americans. You should have it in October like Canadians
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@MikefromEP well it's supposed to be a celebration of the harvest. And in some parts the US harvest doesn't end til late October
Jibby · 56-60, C
@MikefromEP hey what are you trying to muscle our Halloween out of the picture? When else can you dress like the devil without getting arrested
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
