Friend requests then one liners

I don't mind replying to messages but how do all you others feel about the 'one liners?'
I get 'Hello. How are you?' and that is all I get from some of the people, not all of them.

I think 'and? Can I help you?'

I rarely respond to people who are not on my friends list. Either way, I rather not pm I will attempt to make some kind of effort if it’s a good friend to message every now again, speaking everyday just feels tedious, exhausting and unnecessary for me unless I really enjoy the person. I rarely reply to my messages or even look in my inbox half the time I’m on here. There are a few people on here I think are cool and I’d like to speak to more but my social anxiety refuses to let that happen 😂

As far as friend request goes I only add people I speak to regularly or I know I’ll speak to again. I don’t just add people because I had one good interaction with them.

@Stark It is not a bad thing to be cautious. I have social anxiety also.

It is easier to deal with once you know you have it but when it first came onto me, nightmare.

@Stark I understand. When I first got this condition I kept saying I was frightened and people would ask "what are you frightened of?"

But that is just it. We don't know. I'm insecure. How about you?
