It's not cheesy. I went with something more memorable when reaching out to an old classmate, though. "Remember that time you broke my little sister's swingset?" She denied that ever happened and then we got to talking.

@SW-User I don't have anything memorable like that except us eating lunch together with a few other girls outside at school on occasion. Just seemed like a nice person. She switched schools and I never saw her again.
Were they friends or just classmates that were never friends? Also if they havent added you as a friend then your message gets filtered to an alt inbox that few people know even exists
