I love the internet nowadays.

Someone says "someone" did a bad thing to them and everyone automatically believes them.

What happened to proof? Or evidence? Do we just trust people at their word now when these serious allegations come up?

Then when the person accused of doing it defends themselves..."Oh they must be guilty because they are acting like that" now...imagine if someone accused you of doing something truly horrible, even though you know that you haven't done it and they have no proof...but everyone believes them instead of you...how would you feel?

The moral of this story is simple, don't believe literally everything you read online.
All you have to do is change their perception of someone. Perception is a person's truth. Although, that might not be reality.

@AcidBurn Agreed, in situations like that even if the accused is proved innocent...they will lose.

Their reputation is probably in tatters, their friends would've abandoned them, oh sure they're innocent, but the person who lied will go free.
@Fangirlsarah1996 Exactly, the damage is done. Staying in my room sounds like a better idea every day.

@AcidBurn And the people that go on these "crusades" online complain that "people" are making the world a scary place.

Even though they are the problem :/

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Trump wasn't even mentioned in the original post, though.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout If trump didn't call the sun then the polar bears wouldn't be melting

The proof is that only 2-10% of allegations are false which means there’s a 90% chance that we should believe them.

Liberals don't need proof. Any shit they make up they spread as the truth.

I always manage to dodge those bullets somehow lol. But then I say a lie about them and everyone believes me and their life is FUCKED... XD...

It's an easy trap to fall into, in this age of information overload, to give up on filtration efforts.
