It’s okay. I hate being shy when meeting new people, but once you get to know me i’m loud. As for being introverted, i don’t mind it! I quite enjoy my alone time and am comfortable with it. @SpiritOfSoul

@SpiritOfSoul It is a contrast... but remember, I classify myself as a hedonist of the Epicurean discipline, so my life is dedicated to the pleasurable learning experiences. If I scare the crap out of you with my intensity before even getting out of the gate, how the heck am I going to enjoy your company or learn about you...? So, PAY ATTENTION. If they are shy, BE SHY. If they are outgoing, BE OUTGOING.

A big handicap

@SpiritOfSoul and still can get shy at times, but I also try to remember that I too am a person who deserves just as well to be free to engage with the world as anybody else. I've struggled with self esteem and with my appearance most of my life, but am not so hung up on it in recent years.
