You've been fooled by someone, how long before you realised it?

I relaize even during the ordeal.. intuition lets you know .. sometimes you still go through with it .. and let it happen.

about half a year.. 2 year friendship. it was choppy after finding out they kept on lying about themselves and would just get defensive about things.

I think I always knew something was not right.

Far longer than I should have let it but sometimes you become part of the fooling process and let yourself believe what you know not to be true.

I was aware....but still hoping I was right.....all was fine when of course I was totally wrong and the person was nothing like I initially thought. Took years to accept

I dont like being lied to but I'm always on alert
