My bird bath has been empty for almost a week. I've just filled it up and the birds have arrived. How do they know? Amazing!

Birds have eyes

@Flenflyys I know but it's been empty for a week and there were no birds around. I just found it curious, but nice. :-)

For the birds, coming to your bird bath this past week probably made them feel like the Griswalds when they showed up at Walley World and it was closed.

@waleskinder Lovely! I've just had some Rainbow Lorikeets visit. :-)

One bird figures it out and lets the rest of the flock know about it with a few well tuned chirps.

They use their senses, just like us humans. Of course they cannot miss that pretty face of yours either. ☺

@Zonuss Hi Zonus. :-) Yep, they're remarkable creatures and I love watching them playing in the bird bath. Awww You're such a smoothie, but thank you. 😊
