Can you refuse to be weighed at the doctors office?
Being weighed is embarassing and it's worse when you get lectured and made to feel bad afterwards. Part of the reason why I avoid going if I can.

@FutureIdol I understand... I often thought about lying to my therapist. Because I felt too embarrassed to tell anyone my problems.
Keeping that information from my doctor would not have benefitted me.

I don't think they are trying to make you feel "bad"...maybe they are just trying to get you to recognise you have an eating disorder so they can work with you to treat it?

@FutureIdol the problem is..with anorexia-you will listen to the anorexia above everyone else..prioritise it above everything else..Nice talk gets nowhere with someone in the grip of it. Either you listen to them or it will kill you I'm afraid. Take all the help God sends your way. 😘 x
